Who are Calabash?
Calabash are a world music download site that are based in the US. They help us digitise all the music we get in and manage the delivery. We like them cos they like muisc from all over the world and we're really happy to have them as a partner.

How much do artists earn:
We pay our artists 50% of all income recieved on sales. There are no agrigator costs so after transfer fees etc they get about 40 - 45 US cents per track. We split the remaining revenue 50/50 with our partner who deliver the music.

Artist - 50%
Calabash - 25% (our download partner)

Why do you use a lot of content from You Tube?
Despite the fact that the quality on YT is not always that great the compression rate is high so its pretty quick to stream. We do have a lot of content that we run from our own server but by using other online opensourse recourses we are able to find and filter out content that we might struggle to find.

How do I get my Videos on your site?
We prefer to upload videos into our own system so if you send them to us we put them into our own player and can give you the code to embed the player in your site. Contact us through the contact page at the bottom of this page.
