While we salute US hip hop and what it has brought to the table since it started we are also tired of the negative influence it is having on African society. We as Africans need to create our own identity and develop our own unique cultures. We are a continent with many contrasts and challenges and we believe our hip hop has a big role to play in creating a positive sustainable Africa.
